TUMI 2025 Conference

Towards resilient and inclusive mobility in our cities

Impressions from TUMI2025

Key themes

In a world shaken by climate change, conflict, and crises, resilience is no longer optional—it’s essential. On May 20, 2025, just ahead of the International Transport Forum Summit, the TUMI Conference 2025 gathered leading voices from across the globe in Leipzig to explore how cities can build urban mobility systems that are resilient, inclusive, and future-ready.

  • Infrastructure

How can cities prepare their transport systems against forseeable (climate change) and unforseen challenges (energy or economic crisis)?
  • Governance

What can local (transport) authorities do to prepare for, react to and successfully manage different types of crisis or desaster? How can they leverage climate adaptation finance?
  • Society

How can we ensure that all communities and population groups benefit from (more) resilient transport systems?
