Session 3: Society
Enabling Strong Communities
How can transport systems truly serve everyone? This interactive plenary session explores the power of communities in building transport resilience. It begins with a hands-on paper airplane challenge, illustrating real-world mobility barriers. Through a powerful and diverse panel, stories of empowering youth, persons with disabilities, and women in the transport sector are explored in different contexts that demand for more empathy in our mobility systems. The session culminates in recognizing the Remarkable Young Voices in transport and their role in building resilience in society, emphasizing both their commitment to creating inclusive networks and their dedication to strengthening their communities.
