Technical Session 1: Crisis Management
Integrating Crisis Management & Climate Resilience in Urban Transport Governance
The session includes the presentation of essential concepts on crisis management and climate resilience in urban transport systems. These contents draw on two substantial technical documents which have been recently published by TUMI and MobiliseYourCity. In the second part of the session, a world café discussion allows for an in-depth exchange with case-givers from cities and public transport authorities. The cases include cities that faced major crises which impacted their transport systems. Representatives will provide insights into their cities’ or companies’ responses to these threats, and how risk management and climate resilience are systematically embedded in their governance frameworks and operational structures.

- Santiago, Chile
